Firing Range Audio System

The Westchester County government authority in Valhalla, New York is seeking a vendor to furnish, install, configure, and test audio system improvements at its firing range. The agency needs to replace its existing audio control equipment and expand audio coverage throughout the downrange training area. This project aims to solve communication gaps by integrating a county-furnished Whelen police siren system and adding loudspeakers at both the firing stations and downrange locations. The scope of work covers system design, engineering, assembly, programming, installation, testing, startup, commissioning, and project management. The selected vendor must deliver a complete and fully operational system, including one active line-to-line audio output converter, one networked analog audio processor, and one 7-inch touchscreen controller with a tabletop mounting accessory. The agency also requires one two-channel audio amplifier rated at a minimum of 1,500 watts per channel, four 10-inch two-way externally powered loudspeakers, and ten additional 10-inch two-way externally powered loudspeakers. Bidders must provide all cabling, connectors, mounting hardware, and accessories to establish audio routing and control functionality from the range control booth. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of the work to be conducted offsite, and the authority is currently looking for proposals to establish the project budget.
