Multi-Sport Scoreboard Installation Service

The County of Hawaii is seeking a vendor to provide a multi-sport scoreboard installation service at a government facility located in Hilo, Hawaii. The agency requires one single-sided, fully enclosed outdoor scoreboard cabinet designed primarily for football with the capability to convert for baseball use. To facilitate this dual-use requirement, the agency needs interchangeable plates that can convert the scoreboard for baseball on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes delivering a scoreboard that features a weathertight access panel on the rear of the cabinet for servicing and repair wiring connections. The agency requires the scoreboard to mount directly atop steel W-section posts spaced approximately ten feet and five inches on-center. This mounting must function without the need for external cross members or oversized mounting plates. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The selected contractor must perform all installation work onsite at the Hilo location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this procurement no later than June 16, 2026.
