Point-Of-Sale Solution

The Sheriff's Office is seeking a turnkey, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliant point-of-sale solution. The agency needs to record the collection of payments tendered at each point-of-sale register and subsequently deposited into the agency's bank account. The system must process United States currency, personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, debit card transactions, and credit card transactions. The scope of work covers all necessary hardware, including servers, desktop computers, and registers, as well as applications and underlying third-party software. The selected provider must deliver data migration services, customized programming services, configuration, integration, operating materials and supplies, support, maintenance, and training. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite. Bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed specific evaluation criteria or key dates in the project description.
