Fiber Optic Cable and installation Service

The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs, located in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a vendor to provide and install a dedicated, independent, underground fiber optic cable connection. The agency needs to establish a reliable connection between Buildings 4 and 12, as well as a separate connection from the C-Wing Core in Room C-125 to the Penthouse. This project aims to upgrade the site's communication infrastructure with secure, high-capacity fiber pathways. The scope of work requires the delivery, installation, and testing of a 6-strand indoor/outdoor armored plenum single-mode (OS2) fiber optic cable and all necessary accessories for the connection between Buildings 4 and 12. For the connection from the C-Wing Core to the Penthouse, the agency requires an 18 or 24-strand indoor armored plenum single-mode (OS2) fiber optic cable, including all associated accessories and installation services. All installation and testing activities must take place onsite at the Madison facility. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-established funding limit.
