Enterprise Firewall Project Service

The government authority located in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking an enterprise firewall project service to modernize and strengthen its internet edge firewall infrastructure across two primary data centres. The agency needs to enhance security, manageability, and visibility while improving traffic flow control and policy enforcement within its network. This initiative aims to deliver a robust, cost-effective protection system with advanced threat detection and segmentation that aligns with industry best practices. The scope of work covers the provision of all resources, personnel, project management, supervision, software, hardware, licensing, and associated services necessary to deliver a fully operational enterprise firewall solution. The selected provider must deliver enterprise-grade equipment, software licenses, subscriptions, and supporting components suitable for a mission-critical data centre environment. Additionally, the project requires comprehensive testing and validation of the solution, including high availability, failover, security policy enforcement, application visibility, logging, monitoring, and performance testing. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in Canada. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit proposals that outline their cost-effective solutions, as the agency is looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget.
