Telephone System

The Huntington Station government authority in New York is seeking a vendor to provide an onsite service and repair contract for its district-wide telephone system. The agency needs a partner to handle additions, moves, and changes to the existing system, which are services not typically covered under standard maintenance. The selected provider must also manage and pay for any service charges to other companies or manufacturers required to access, program, and maintain these systems. The scope of work requires the provider to deliver repairs within twenty-four hours of notification and receipt of a signed, authorized purchase order. All repairs and installations must take place during normal workday hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Technicians must report to the security desk with a custodian to sign in upon arrival at any site before performing any maintenance or service work. The agency requires the provider to utilize an email and electronic portal work order system. This system must track the site name, requested service, requester identity, time, date, work status, and required materials. The contract period will span one year, and all performance of the work must occur onsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 18, 2026.
