Environmental Janitorial Services

The Detroit Wayne County Health Authority is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive environmental janitorial services for its behavioral health crisis care center facilities located in Detroit, Michigan. The agency requires continuous, uninterrupted staffing and service twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. The selected provider must perform all duties in a thorough, professional, and efficient manner that adheres strictly to industry standards, regulations, and best practices. The scope of work covers regular cleaning, trash removal, floor care, restroom sanitation, and other related services required by the facility. Specific tasks include emptying waste receptacles, replacing liners, disposing of waste in designated areas, and providing all replacement receptacle products such as paper products, hand soap, and trash bags. The provider must mop all hard surface floors, vacuum walk-off mats, and spot clean entrance doors, glass, receptionist window glass, and chair seats or backs. Additional duties involve damp wiping tabletops, dusting all furnishings and horizontal surfaces weekly, and high dusting surfaces under nine feet such as ceiling fans, light fixtures, vents, and wall corners. The agency is establishing a contract period of two years for these onsite services. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States.
