Occupational Therapist Service

The New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute in Las Vegas, New Mexico, requires professional occupational therapist services to support eligible assigned students. The agency is seeking to address student educational needs by integrating specialized therapy into the school routine. The selected provider will conduct individualized and comprehensive occupational therapist evaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations to determine the necessity of educational-based services. The scope of work covers designing, implementing, and delivering both direct and indirect occupational therapist services. The agency requires the therapist to participate in student development planning and recommend specific equipment, tools, strategies, and techniques. Additionally, the provider must support school personnel and parents by demonstrating therapy strategies and tools for integration into the daily school routine. The therapist must provide caseload information, Medicaid documentation, progress reports, and screening and evaluation reports within specified timeframes. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore, United States-based organizations only. The therapist must perform all work onsite at the Las Vegas, New Mexico location. The contract period will span one year from the date of award. The agency is currently accepting proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these services.
