Municipal Fine Collection Services

The agency is seeking municipal fine collection services for the government authority located in Albany, NY. The objective is to maximize the lawful recovery of outstanding judgments while ensuring fair treatment of judgment debtors and minimizing administrative burdens on City staff. The project covers the review and evaluation of referred judgments, investigation of debtor assets and income sources, and assessment of collectability. It also includes developing collection strategies, utilizing lawful collection remedies such as bank restraints and executions, and investigating corporate entities. The selected vendor will conduct collection activities independently and may settle or resolve judgments at the City's discretion. Eligibility requires bidders to be an onshore USA organization only. Performance of the work will be conducted offsite. The contract period will be for one year. All questions must be submitted no later than July 6, 2026. The agency is looking for proposals.
