Social Emotional Support Services

The Providence, Rhode Island government authority is seeking social emotional support services to promote good mental health through academic and mental health support for all students. The agency needs targeted support for individual students or small groups outside of the classroom to address student mental health challenges. The selected professional will administer crisis intervention services, individual risk assessments, and referrals to school or community resources. The scope of work also requires short-term individual and family counseling to assist families in transitioning to long-term, out-of-school services. Additionally, the agency is requesting professional learning, including embedded one-on-one coaching services, for school administrators and faculty on self-care and resiliency strategies for themselves and their classrooms. The provider must also train administrators to give feedback that encourages teacher growth, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and community organizations to share student achievement strategies. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to perform this work. The agency requires the performance of all services to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals with their own budget structures, as the agency is looking for proposals to define the cost. The agency has set a deadline for all questions to be submitted no later than June 25, 2026.
