Water System Planning and Hydraulic Modeling Study Service

The City of Mattoon, Illinois, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide water system planning and hydraulic modeling study services. The agency needs to evaluate the capacity of its existing infrastructure to reliably serve current customers while supporting anticipated industrial demand at two specific project sites. This study will identify system constraints that could impact service delivery and will guide future infrastructure investment decisions. The scope of work requires the development of a hydraulic model and a system-wide capacity analysis. The selected vendor must perform field testing and evaluate the existing water distribution mains, pressure zones, storage facilities, and pumping capacity. The final deliverable must include conceptual infrastructure improvement recommendations and planning-level cost estimates to form a ten-year capital improvement plan for future design and funding pursuits. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be completed offsite.
