Asian Regional Office Representative Services

The Mississippi Development Authority is seeking a vendor to provide Asian regional office representative services to support its economic development goals. The agency needs to promote Mississippi assets, including geography, existing industries, exporters, communities, industrial sites, workforce, research assets, and incentives. To solve the problem of identifying and attracting foreign investment, the agency requires the development of a recruitment plan and an export promotion plan in partnership with the authority. The scope of work covers generating investment leads from the representative's network of contacts and target sector research in Asia. The representative must attend relevant industry events, forums, and trade shows in Asia, focusing primarily on the automotive, aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Additionally, the representative must support the agency when it exhibits at events by securing appointments with Asian companies and must maintain databases of potential business partners and international trade service providers. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of the requested work must be conducted onsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 30, 2026.
