The government authority located in Bronson, Florida, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive legal services. The agency needs a legal advisor to perform duties and responsibilities pursuant to local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations. This partner will serve as the legal counselor for all departments and officers in matters relating to their official duties. The scope of work requires the selected attorney to advise, research, assist, and render written opinions on general agency law, labor law, intergovernmental relations, and state and federal laws relating to agency government. The attorney must prepare, review, and advise on all contracts, bonds, and other legal instruments, endorsing each with an approval of form and correctness. Additionally, the attorney must review all agenda items, advise on compliance with agency statutes, and prepare documents for land purchases and sales, including developing proper legal descriptions. The attorney or a designated representative must attend all meetings of the agency commission and planning commission to supply necessary legal services. Performance of all contract work must occur onsite in Bronson, Florida. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year for these services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this contract.
