Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials Collection Services

The Township of Woodbridge, New Jersey, is seeking a contractor to provide solid waste and recyclable materials collection services. The agency needs to resolve the accumulation of solid waste, bulk waste, and single-stream recycling, including waste left outside containers that is too large to fit inside. The scope of work requires the contractor to use roll-off vehicles to collect solid waste from twenty-cubic-yard and thirty-five-cubic-yard containers. The agency is requesting proposals under two distinct cost structures for this two-year contract. Under the first option, the contractor collects the materials and the Township remains responsible for all disposal and processing costs. Under the second option, the contractor takes full responsibility for both collection and all disposal and processing costs. Any collection vehicle rejected at a processing center must be redirected to the contractor's own solid waste disposal facility. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The contractor will perform all work offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 21, 2026.
