Single Stream Recycling Services

The Charlotte County Public Schools district in Port Charlotte, Florida is seeking a vendor to establish a district-wide, single-stream recycling program. The agency wants to solve the problem of excessive waste by diverting recyclable materials from landfills and promoting sustainability across all of its administrative, educational, and athletic facilities. The contract period for these services will span two years. The scope of work requires the contractor to collect, transport, and process specific single-stream materials from the designated facilities. These materials include paper products, corrugated cardboard or boxboard, plastics, glass, posterboard, construction paper, metals, aluminum beverage containers, and other aluminum products. All performance of the work must occur onsite at the agency facilities in Port Charlotte. Bidders must be onshore United States organizations to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these services.
