Community Funding Service

The City of Merced, California, is seeking a vendor to establish and administer an open, competitive funding process for local non-profit organizations. The selected provider will manage the distribution of monetary support to community programs that enhance the local quality of life. Funded initiatives will focus on development programs, sports and recreation, job training, and innovative community enrichment activities. The scope of work requires the vendor to design and execute a system that targets population enrichment, develops training programs, and enhances the service delivery of existing community events and programs. The agency expects the vendor to perform all services offsite. Bidders must be organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency is currently seeking budget proposals from interested bidders to determine the cost of the service. All questions regarding this procurement must be submitted to the agency no later than July 2, 2026.
