Occupational Therapist Services

The Punxsutawney Area School District in Pennsylvania is seeking a vendor to provide occupational therapist services for the 2026/2027 school year. The agency is establishing a preventative program to assist and support students who exhibit at-risk fine motor and sensory issues. The selected occupational therapist or certified occupational therapy assistant will work full-time for seven and a half hours per day over one hundred eighty school days. The scope of work requires the therapist to identify at-risk students, develop and implement interventions, and monitor student progress within the regular education classroom setting. The therapist must collaborate with Kindergarten staff and administration, as well as consult with regular and special education teachers to coordinate students' behavioral, social, and emotional needs. Additional responsibilities include participating in meetings with families, school personnel, and outside agencies, and engaging students in school activities to assess academic barriers. The contract term is for a period of one year, and all work must be performed onsite. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is requesting pricing proposals from interested bidders.
