Special Education Teacher Service

The government authority located in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a vendor to provide special education teacher services. The selected teacher must co-plan, prepare, and co-deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences while co-developing lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of each student. The role requires providing individualized and small group instruction, establishing clear objectives for all learning activities, and utilizing a variety of instructional strategies such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, and discovery. The scope of work includes creating an effective learning environment through functional displays, using relevant technology to support instruction, and maintaining standards of student behavior. The teacher must observe and evaluate student performance, maintain accurate progress records, and teach socially acceptable behavior using techniques like behavior modification and positive reinforcement. Additional responsibilities involve communicating student progress to parents and colleagues, cooperating with professional staff to address student health and learning problems, participating in in-service education, and supervising students during the workday. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States, and all contracted work must be performed onsite. The agency is establishing a contract period of three years to secure these services.
