Sign Language Interpreting Service

The agency is seeking a contractor to provide sign language interpreting services to facilitate communication between deaf and hearing individuals. The selected provider must convert spoken language into sign language as closely to the hearer's language as possible, and interpret sign language back into spoken English. Accuracy is vital, and the interpreters must demonstrate proficiency in both English and the interpreted sign language. The scope of work covers in-person, on-site sign language interpretation billed per hour, as well as virtual conferencing interpretation billed per hour. The project also includes interpretation via other remote means, such as Video Remote Interpreting, billed per hour, per minute, or under another proposed rate structure accepted in the contract. The agency requires the contractor to possess prior experience in providing sign language interpretation services. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. Performance of the contract will take place both onsite and offsite. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services.
