Misdemeanor Probation Services

The government authority located in Florida is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive misdemeanor probation services. The agency needs to ensure that offenders court-ordered to misdemeanor probation strictly adhere to all court-imposed conditions, including classes, counseling, community service, educational programs, drug testing, reporting requirements, and statutorily required financial payments. This initiative aims to solve the problem of managing and supervising misdemeanor probationers effectively through structured intake, classification, orientation, supervision, staffing, pre-trial intervention, and pre-sentence investigation reporting. The scope of work covers the complete administration of probationer caseloads and the management of community service programs. The selected contractor must refer probationers to appropriate worksites, approve these worksites based on the probationer's risk or criminal history, and verify all work performed. Additionally, the contractor must provide liability insurance to all participants at the worksites and maintain highly accurate records of all community service hours completed. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the contract work to occur offsite. While the agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, the contract period is established for a duration of three years. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 1, 2026.
