Customized Vehicle Maintenance Curriculum Training and Testing Service

The Delaware Transit Corporation in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a vendor to provide customized vehicle maintenance curriculum training and testing services at garages statewide. The agency needs to equip its vehicle maintenance employees with specific, customized training on its fleet of transit buses, focusing on current and immediate future technologies. To solve this need, the agency requires one dedicated, qualified, full-time in-house instructor to be located at an agency facility. The scope of work requires the instructor to develop, coordinate, and deliver customized training and proficiency testing programs. This instructor will conduct hands-on and classroom-based instruction, evaluate employee performance and technical proficiency, and develop or update curriculum materials to support operational and technical needs. The agency will provide the instructor with sufficient cross-training by seasoned on-site instructors upon hire and replacement to ensure reasonable success.
