The City of Staples, Minnesota, is seeking a vendor to provide airfield runway materials, services, and related solutions. The agency requires airfield marking materials and supplies, including paints, thermoplastics, and glass beads, alongside liquid or solid airfield deicers and deicing services. Additionally, the agency needs rubber removal agents and various firefighting agents, such as aqueous film-forming foam, alcohol-resistant fluorine-free foam, biobased fluorine-free foam, Purple K, and Halotron. The scope of work encompasses transition-related services for airfields and other agencies, including risk assessment, planning, engineering, consulting, design, and implementation. The selected provider must handle legacy foam removal, foam system cleanout, material handling, storage, transportation, disposal, destruction, and environmental remediation.
