Early Care and Education Technical Assistance Service

The Maine Department of Health and Human Services in Augusta is seeking a vendor to provide early care and education technical assistance services. The agency requires technical assistance specialists to deliver coaching, navigation, and professional learning community facilitation at no cost to early childhood educators, classrooms, and programs, including family child care providers. This initiative aims to support local educators and programs through both virtual and on-site delivery methods. The scope of work requires the vendor to ensure specialists can travel reasonable distances by car to reach potential early care and education settings within the designated coverage areas. Specialists must adhere to department-determined eligibility standards, referral processes, and service delivery models, delivering services in accordance with approved referrals and populations. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States, and the performance of the work will occur offsite.
