Plan Review and Inspection Services

The City of St. Augustine, Florida, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive plan review and inspection services. The city needs to ensure that permitted construction within its limits complies with city codes, ordinances, and permitted plans and specifications. The selected vendor will address the city's need for professional oversight in general building, mechanical, plumbing, structural, electrical, and site disciplines. The scope of work requires the vendor to review plans for code compliance and inspect permitted construction sites. The vendor must enter all results, reports, and complaint investigations into the city's planning and building database, maintaining daily logs and administrative documentation. Personnel performing these duties must possess the physical ability to drive, climb stairs and ladders, use scaffolding, walk on roofs and steel rebar, step into trenches, and crawl through small spaces. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The city allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite, and bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online. The city is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 8, 2026.
