Airport Environmental Compliance Consultant Services

The Palm Beach County Department of Airports is seeking professional environmental compliance support services on an as-needed basis for its operations in West Palm Beach, Florida. The agency requires external environmental expertise to ensure all airport activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations designed to minimize environmental impacts. The targeted impact categories encompass air quality, water resource management including stormwater, solid and hazardous waste management, and wildlife mitigation on and near the airports. The selected consultant must perform periodic compliance audits, including assessments of tenant activities and facility inspections. The scope of work also includes performing environmental assessments of contaminated media, operational practices, and property acquisitions or disposals, followed by the submission of reports and recommendations. Additionally, the consultant must complete permit applications and coordinate directly with regulatory agencies throughout the permitting process. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The designated performance of the work will take place offsite.
