Downtown Hotel Service

The City of Vernal, Utah is seeking a partner to develop a landmark hotel on a prime downtown site. The agency is trying to solve the need for a high-quality, welcoming presence that strengthens the character, appearance, and economic activity of the downtown area. The selected partner will collaborate closely with city staff and the City Council to finalize the design, secure necessary approvals, and bring the project to completion. The scope of work covers the design of property elements including aesthetics, finishes, and the overall look and feel of the hotel complex to ensure consistency with the downtown vision and long-term community goals. The project also addresses interaction with plaza elements and other retail components, including pedestrian access, traffic flow, and site circulation. Performance of the work will occur offsite. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of the project. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 2, 2026.
