Grant Program Director Services

The City of Albany, New York, is seeking professional services for the position of Gun Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) Program Director. The selected partner will provide executive-level coordination, strategic leadership, grant management, and multi-agency collaboration services to support the GIVE Initiative. The primary objective is to facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration focused on violence prevention, intervention, suppression, and enforcement strategies. The scope of work covers program leadership, grant administration, and strategic planning. The selected partner will coordinate collaborative violence reduction efforts among law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, probation departments, community supervision agencies, and community-based organizations. Additionally, the role involves preparing annual GIVE grant applications, monitoring performance measures, tracking budget expenditures, and helping partner agencies implement evidence-based violence reduction strategies. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected partner must perform all work onsite in Albany, New York. Bidders must submit their proposals physically via courier or post, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than July 6, 2026.
