Athletic Trainers Service

The City Colleges of Chicago require six certified athletic trainers to support the intercollegiate athletics programs across six of its college campuses. The selected trainers must hold certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and maintain an active, in-good-standing license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. The agency needs these professionals to work onsite in Chicago, Illinois, to manage student-athlete injuries and coordinate care. The scope of work involves collaborating with athletic directors, the district athletic office, and the office of risk management to process athletic claims efficiently. Trainers must report significant injuries to the athletic office and maintain precise injury records on designated forms. Additionally, the personnel must direct injured student-athletes to authorized physicians and treatment centers within the students' insurance networks and cooperate with the district's third-party claims administrator. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is accepting proposals digitally via email or online, and has not disclosed a specific budget. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 24, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than June 26, 2026.
