Water Meter Testing Services

The City of Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a contractor to provide water meter measuring chamber testing services on an as-needed basis. The agency needs to ensure the accuracy and functionality of its water meter measuring chambers, which range in size from three inches to sixteen inches. Under this contract, the selected provider must test and calibrate each chamber, then return the units with an attached tag indicating whether the chamber passed or failed the test. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place offsite. Eligibility is strictly limited to United States organizations operating onshore. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish a contract period that will span five years. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of these services.
