Invasive Species Management Services

The City of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive invasive species management services across various city-owned parks, nature preserves, greenway parcels, and natural areas. The agency requires these services to control and remove invasive terrestrial and aquatic vegetation, establish and maintain native vegetation, and conduct ecological surveying and monitoring. The selected vendor must supply all necessary crews, equipment, licenses, skills, knowledge, and supplies to execute these tasks. The scope of work is divided into three distinct project categories. First, the agency requires invasive plant control and removal services for both terrestrial and aquatic environments. Second, the agency needs native vegetation establishment and maintenance services, which include planting, seeding, plugging, staking, and other installation methods. Third, the agency requires ecological surveying and monitoring services to be conducted throughout its natural areas and parklands. Bidders must possess the required licenses, skills, knowledge, and experience to perform the requested services. The agency limits eligibility to onshore vendors based in the United States, and the performance of all work must take place onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina. Proposals must include both technical and cost components, as the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. The agency will award a contract for a period of one year.
