Real Estate Appraisal Services

The City of Edinburg, Texas, requires real estate appraisal services on an as-needed basis to support property acquisition, leasing, financial planning, strategic planning, and other informational interests. The agency needs to establish fair market value for viable real estate acquisitions and requires market analysis reports to support these valuations. To solve these needs, the selected contractor will research markets, identify potential property values for acquisition or disposal, and provide professional opinions on land developments, business viability, tax appraisals, and eminent domain. The scope of work covers preparing comparable reports on agency properties, assisting agency personnel or broker agents in evaluating the acquisition process, and conducting appraisal report reviews. The agency also requires the contractor to present oral presentations to the City Board of Trustees upon request. All work must strictly adhere to Texas state laws and procedures regarding real estate appraisals. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of work to take place both onsite and offsite. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or through an online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
