GLOBAL - Farmer’s Market Program and Specialty Kitchen Operation Service

The City of Global is seeking a qualified vendor to manage and operate its farmer’s market program and specialty kitchen facility. The agency requires a partner to serve as the primary operator and administrator, taking full responsibility for day-to-day operations, long-term program success, and community programming. This initiative aims to solve the challenge of coordinating a vibrant, balanced market by outsourcing vendor recruitment, billing, scheduling, and overall event management to an experienced operator. The scope of work covers the planning, coordination, and execution of all market activities, including the development of annual operations plans and seasonal marketing strategies. The selected partner must maintain an active online presence through a dedicated website and social media, ensuring all promotional efforts align with city branding guidelines. Additionally, the operator must manage vendor relations, utilize digital market management systems for recordkeeping, and implement diverse programming to enhance the customer experience. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. While the administrative performance of the work will occur offsite, bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid site walkthrough scheduled for July 28, 2026. The agency accepts proposal submissions either digitally via email or online, or physically through courier or post. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the financial framework.
