The Town of Albany, New York requires a vendor to provide professional newsletter printing and preparation services. The agency is trying to solve its physical communication needs by outsourcing the production of an estimated 7,200 newsletter copies per issue. The selected vendor must process a town-provided electronic file with pictures into a press-quality PDF and deliver a physical proof to the Town for review within three business days of receiving the file. The scope of work covers printing a four-page, self-cover newsletter with an open size of 8.5 inches by 11 inches, folded down to 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches. The agency requires the newsletters to be printed on 100-pound text-weight, white exact gloss coated paper using full-color front and back printing with bleeds. Finishing services must include trimming, folding, wafer sealing, and addressing the newsletters using an updated mailing list provided by the Town at the time of each publication. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performing vendor must conduct all production work offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 01, 2026.
