RFI for Discovery Drive Solar Array Pilot Service

The University of Connecticut seeks a vendor to provide a discovery drive solar array pilot service at its campus in Storrs, Connecticut. The agency is attempting to pilot a ground-mounted solar energy system to evaluate its feasibility and performance. The scope of work covers the installation of a 550 kilowatt ground-mounted, fixed-tilt solar array at the site of Parcel 8.23.1-4 on Discovery Drive. The selected vendor must perform civil, electrical, and structural engineering, as well as surveying, geotechnical, and environmental assessments. The project also requires the vendor to handle all permitting, interconnection studies, and associated fees. The agency expects the performance of this work to occur offsite, and the resulting contract will run for a period of one year. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of the project, as no specific budget limit is pre-defined.
