Employee Ancillary Benefits Insurance Broker Services

The City of Montebello, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide employee ancillary benefits insurance broker services. The agency needs to evaluate and improve the effectiveness, competitiveness, sustainability, and administration of its existing ancillary benefits programs. To solve these challenges, the agency requires strategic consulting to identify cost-containment strategies, alternative funding structures, plan design modifications, and administrative efficiencies. The scope of work covers strategic benefits consulting, financial analytics, reporting, and ongoing benefits administration support. The selected broker will manage annual renewals, negotiate with carriers regarding premiums and contract terms, and assist staff, employees, and retirees with claims disputes and billing issues. All performance of the work will occur offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to submit proposals for this opportunity. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
