Guardianship Services

The Village of Castleton-on-Hudson, New York, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive guardianship services for indigent incapacitated persons. The agency is trying to close the gap in the availability of guardians who can manage the personal and property needs of indigent individuals who have no other suitable person to serve in this capacity. All requested services must be person-centered, trauma-informed, and designed to promote autonomy, safety, and well-being in the least restrictive manner possible. The selected vendor must perform all work onsite within the local jurisdiction. The agency requires the provider to ensure full compliance with all applicable court orders and statutory mandates while delivering these guardianship services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 17, 2026.
