Community Event Programming Consultant Services

The issuing agency is seeking a community event programming consultant to serve as a leader and liaison with the operator at a newly restored and updated theatre. This consultant will manage the advanced planning, execution, and continuous improvement of all community event programming, operations, and communications. The agency requires strategic coordination and oversight of operations for all community events, which includes collaborating closely with venue and event management teams to support seamless execution. The scope of work requires the consultant to communicate with the theatre booking team to obtain information on available dates and place holds for events on requested days. For each event, the consultant must coordinate the event type, proposed schedule, production needs such as audio, lighting, or video, and staffing needs including guest services, security, and box office. The consultant must also manage food and beverage concessions, catering preferences, seat costing, seating locations, and ticketing needs. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency permits the selected consultant to perform the work offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
