Stormwater Compliance and Industrial Stormwater Permit Services

The Town of Simsbury, Connecticut requires a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive stormwater compliance and industrial stormwater permit services. The agency is seeking to achieve and maintain full compliance with all applicable industrial stormwater permit requirements through this contract. The selected partner will manage the transition to new permits for both the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and industrial stormwater programs. The scope of work covers reviewing and assessing requirements under the new general permit, as well as developing new permits. The chosen contractor must conduct initial site inspections at each facility to document existing stormwater controls. Additionally, the agency requires outfall inspections, dry and wet weather sampling in accordance with permit guidelines, and assistance with maintenance tracking and documentation for post-construction stormwater structures. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of all contracted work to take place offsite.
