Regional Truck Parking Study Service

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada is seeking a qualified vendor to conduct a regional truck parking study in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. The agency needs to address commercial truck parking shortages and inefficiencies by identifying current issues and opportunities. This study will build upon existing land use and zoning policy guidance to encourage or require onsite truck parking at newly developed warehousing facilities. The selected consultant will develop a customized truck parking generation rate and establish policy recommendations to assist local jurisdictions with infrastructure strategies. The scope of work requires updating the commercial truck parking gap count for the county, which includes creating an inventory and measuring the usage of both designated and undesignated truck parking locations. Additionally, the agency requires the development of a stakeholder engagement plan that outlines specific outreach goals and strategies. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency allows the performance of all contracted work to be completed offsite.
