Workforce and Purpose Alignment Initiative Service

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services in Jefferson City is seeking a qualified health economist to facilitate the alignment of programs, services, and resources. The agency intends to maximize health impact and ensure responsible stewardship of public funds through strategically guided decisions and investments. This initiative aims to address core services including disease and injury prevention, food and nutrition services, environmental health services, maternal and child health services, senior and disability services, vital records and statistics, and emergency preparedness and response. The selected contractor must provide health economics and health systems transformation consultation and expertise. To gather information and meet deliverables, the contractor may utilize employee workgroups, interviews, or other collaborative methods with agency staff. Information gathering and collaboration may occur in person or virtually, though the agency highly desires some in-person facilitation. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of the work may take place onsite in Jefferson City or offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract period will run for one year.
