The City of Wayzata, Minnesota, is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a comprehensive plan to guide the community's future decision-making regarding land use, development, transportation, housing, community facilities, parks, open space, and overall community character. The project requires a fresh, data-driven assessment of present conditions and future opportunities to help city staff, elected officials, stakeholders, and community members formulate goals and implementation strategies. The selected consultant will analyze previous studies, existing conditions, market and economic realities, and stakeholder input to deliver a strategically prepared plan. The scope of work covers the creation of the comprehensive plan, a design standards handbook, a parks and trails master plan, and a strategic plan. Additionally, the consultant must manage public participation activities and maintain a dedicated project website, integrated into the city's existing website, with regular content updates and social media material throughout the process. The performance of this work can occur either onsite or offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a specific funding limit.
