Information Access and Privacy Support Services

The British Columbia government authority requires information access and privacy support services on an as-and-when-needed basis. The Privacy, Information Management and Access team needs additional capacity to manage the volume and complexity of Freedom of Information requests and privacy needs. This work includes conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, developing requirements, evaluating submissions, and responding to breaches and incidents. All personnel employed or retained to perform these services must possess experience in information access or privacy subject matter expertise. Depending on the specific services applied for, this expertise must include conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and supporting breach and incident response. The agency requires all contracted work to be performed offsite. Only organizations based onshore in Canada are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is seeking proposals to determine the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than August 19, 2026.
