Fire Apparatus Refurbishment and Rehabilitation Services

The City of Fulton, Georgia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide fire apparatus refurbishment, rehabilitation, diagnostic, overhaul, repair, modernization, and return-to-service support. The agency needs to maintain its fleet of City-owned Fire Rescue apparatus on an as-needed basis to ensure operational readiness and crew safety. This initiative aims to resolve mechanical and structural issues, ensuring all vehicles meet safety standards for frontline or reserve service. The scope of work covers engines, pumpers, aerial ladder trucks, tower apparatus, rescue vehicles, medic and EMS units, battalion and command vehicles, specialty response vehicles, reserve fire apparatus, and support apparatus. Requested services include transmission diagnostics, power take-off systems, driveshafts, axles, differentials, steering systems, alignment, suspension, and chassis operational components. The selected contractor must also perform roadworthiness corrections and service cab heating, air conditioning, compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigerant systems, controls, and related components. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to occur offsite at the vendor's own office premises. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 15, 2026.
