Traffic Signal Capital Improvement Service

The City of Elgin, Illinois, is seeking a vendor to provide traffic signal capital improvement services. The agency requires the installation of traffic signals, traffic posts, and controller upgrades within existing traffic signal cabinets. Additionally, the scope of work covers re-lamping LED signal indications, installing underground conduit and fiber optic cables, and installing and assembling new rectangular rapid flashing beacons. The selected contractor must also handle signage removal and replacement, alongside the complete restoration of the construction area. The agency is conducting this work offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 6, 2026.
