Educational Interpreting Services

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide educational interpreting services to ensure effective communication between students, parents, guardians, and school personnel. This initiative aims to solve communication barriers during critical educational milestones, including parent conferences related to special education services, Individualized Education Program meetings, and initial and reevaluation eligibility meetings. The requested services also include assisting with the completion of full individual evaluations, such as psychoeducational assessments, speech-language evaluations, and psychological evaluations used to determine eligibility for specially designed instruction. The scope of work covers interpreting technical terms, educational terminology, evaluation results, and procedural information. Bidders must demonstrate fluency in both oral and written English and the target languages, and they must provide evidence of this bilingual fluency. Eligibility rules restrict participation to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of the work will occur offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the contract period will run for one year. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 16, 2026.
