Educational Interpreting Services

The agency is seeking educational interpreting services to ensure effective communication between students, parents or guardians, and school personnel. This initiative aims to solve communication barriers during the completion of full individual evaluations, parent meetings, consent meetings, Review of Existing Evaluation Data meetings, and admission, review, and dismissal facilitation. The target population includes students with limited English proficiency who require evaluations in a language they understand, as well as parents who must receive all information regarding evaluations and services in their native language. The scope of work covers interpreting during psychoeducational assessments, speech language evaluations, and psychological evaluations to help determine eligibility for specially designed instruction. Selected providers must attend meetings and interpret for parents and students during admission, review, and dismissal committee meetings, individualized education program meetings, and initial or reevaluation eligibility meetings. Additionally, the work includes interpreting during special education assessments, parent conferences related to special education services, and student testing situations. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place onsite. While the agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals, the contract period will span one year. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 16, 2026.
