Employee and Family Assistance Program Service

The Simcoe County District School Board in Barrie, Ontario is seeking an Employee and Family Assistance Program provider to deliver services that enhance the overall wellbeing of its employees. The selected provider must deliver counseling, preventative wellness initiatives, education, and professional training. The program must address stress and resiliency, occupational stress, trauma, work-related issues, family, marital, and parenting challenges, psychological illnesses such as anxiety and depression, grief, loss, emotional support, legal and financial consultation, substance abuse, addiction, and retirement and life-stage planning. The agency requires a proactive strategy to maintain service delivery during local or global disruptions, including infrastructure failures, health crises, or natural disasters. The provider must also implement a comprehensive detection and mitigation framework. The performance of the work can take place either onsite or offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in Canada. Bidders must register and pay a fee on the tendering authority's website to obtain the official request for proposals document without a watermark. Proposals must be submitted digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. The contract period will span five years. The agency required all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than June 26, 2026.
