Flight Simulation Systems, Equipment and Maintenance Services

The government authority located in Texas is seeking to procure, install, and commission a comprehensive suite of flight simulation systems. The agency also requires ongoing annual service and maintenance agreements for both new and existing systems across agency campuses on an as-needed basis. This procurement aims to solve the agency's need for diverse, high-fidelity aviation training tools ranging from introductory workstations to advanced full-motion simulators. The scope of work covers five distinct categories of flight simulation equipment. The agency requires full-motion, single-engine simulators featuring a six degrees of freedom motion platform and a simulated instrument panel replicating a Federal Aviation Administration certifiable single-engine piston aircraft cockpit. The agency also needs a full-motion citation jet simulator with a multi-axis motion platform configured for a light jet aircraft flight envelope, dual pilot positions, glass cockpit displays, autopilot functionality, and jet-specific systems. Additionally, the project includes stationary, single-engine simulators with a fixed-base cockpit and a multi-screen or wrap-around display system. The agency is requesting specialty simulators focusing on crosswind landings, takeoff scenarios, and landing technique proficiency, incorporating motion or dynamic control loading. Finally, the agency requires desktop, non-motion, introductory simulators featuring workstation-based platforms, realistic cockpit interfaces, and software capable of basic visual flight rules flight, navigation, and systems familiarization. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite at the agency campuses in Texas.
