Video Remote Interpreting Services

The Civil Rights Department is seeking video remote interpreting services to ensure individuals with limited English proficiency have full access to department meetings, interviews, hearings, trainings, depositions, and mediations. The agency needs to solve the challenge of securing qualified interpreters on short notice for both high and low frequency languages, including Spanish, Egyptian, Mongolian, Farsi, Korean, and Japanese. These services will support intake and investigative interviews, confidential mediations, educational webinars, public hearings, council meetings, and legal interviews or depositions in compliance with applicable laws. The scope of work covers video remote interpreting services delivered via technology platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Webex. The selected contractor must provide these services Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The performance of the work can occur either onsite or offsite over a contract period of four years. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept response submissions digitally via email or online.
