Document Destruction Services

The government authority located in Washington is seeking a contractor to provide secure, on-site document destruction services. The agency needs to solve the problem of securely disposing of sensitive materials by requiring recurring quarterly document destruction at two designated sites. The selected contractor must also provide additional destruction services on an as-needed basis for any government-designated location at an additional negotiated cost. The scope of work requires the contractor to perform all document destruction on-site, as off-site destruction is strictly prohibited. The contractor must coordinate and communicate all pickup schedules with the designated government representative to ensure personnel are available to escort contractor personnel within secured areas of the facility. Additionally, the contractor must ensure all shredded materials are securely handled and disposed of in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing document destruction and information protection. The agency requires a Certificate of Destruction upon completion of each document destruction service. Eligibility is restricted to onshore United States organizations, and all work must be performed on-site. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
